Musicians often know they own an item but can't immediately answer where it's packed or what belongs in a specific container. Owning the gear and knowing where it lives are two different problems: RigVault Cases solve the second one.
A Case is more than a road case.
Road cases, racks, pedalboards, gig bags, kits, and other real containers all work as RigVault Cases. If it's a physical grouping you use to store or transport gear, it fits the model. You don't need a traditional flight case to make one.

What is a RigVault Case?

Yes. Cases model the physical organization of your equipment, so you always know what belongs in a road case, rack, pedalboard, gig bag, or similar container.
What is the difference between a Case and a Loadout?
A Case is physical organization: where is the equipment grouped? A Loadout is deployment: what needs to travel to a specific job? A Case can be selected as part of a Loadout.
Do I need to create a Case for every piece of gear?
No. Cases are for the containers and assemblies you actually use. Standalone gear that doesn't live in a case can still be tracked in your inventory and included directly in Rigs and Loadouts.
